The Almada Festival of Theater began.

Between Lisbon and the other side of the Tagus, from July 4 18, there are 26 pieces of Portuguese and foreign companies that interpret classics like Shakespeare’s Tempest, as well as contemporary creations by names like Tiago Rodrigues.

This year pays homage to António Lagarto – set designer and costume designer.

There are also exhibitions, colloquia and other proposals on display.
