WHEN OTHER STRINGS ARE AWARDED

In the strings of Portuguese Guitar, Hugo Reis has been one of the regular attendees in the Fado Inside the Box project, fado matinees with tastings and wine.

The instrumentalist is also a composer and recently two of his compositions were awarded in Boston (USA) and Lisbon (Portugal).

“Transparent (e)” – for flute, viola d’arco and harp -, winner of the 2nd edition of the “New Gallery Concert Series Composition Competition” by the Cambridge Art Association in Boston, USA.

and

“Metamorphosis and Resonances for accordion solo” which was awarded the 2nd prize in the “Composition Competition for Solo Accordion 2017 – Folefest” in Lisbon.
